Dhaka celebrated its 416th anniversary on Friday with a traditional boat race on the Buriganga River, drawing thousands of spectators to both banks.
Six teams from across the country took part in the race, organised as part of the ‘Hridoye Dhaka 416’ festival. The race was held in the afternoon from Kholamora Ghat to Wise Ghat.
